You’re unstoppable – believe it!

The importance of persistence & continuous self-improvement

There are quite a few quotes that give me inspiration when I work online, here are a couple of my favorites.

The first is by Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President of the United States:

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.

Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Genius will not: unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.

Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination are omnipotent”

Think about this and relate it to your own online journey, it makes sense, right? You’ll always face challenges when you work online, that’s a given. But what separates the winners from the losers, the successful from the unsuccessful, those who make it from those who give up just before they do is PERSISTENCE.

When I did some off-road motorbiking (I come from tarmac, so it was a challenge for me) my instructor told me to think of myself as a train on a track that couldn’t be stopped. When you feel you’re about to lose it, give it a little throttle and just keep going. You’re unstoppable.

And, that makes sense when it comes to your online business.

When you think you’ve hit a bit of a speed wobble and are finding it difficult to carry on, even when you think you might quit, give the throttle a blip and carry on. You never know just how close you may be to success!

A parting thought

I came across this recently, and it immediately struck a chord:

“Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better.”

How true that is and what an inspiration to push through and consistently develop your entrepreneurial skills.

Look, you are always going to face challenges – whatever you do in life.

The mark of a true entrepreneur is to find answers to the challenges you face and NEVER, NEVER quit.

You’re unstoppable – believe it!

True story. You are absolutely right about persistence. To find success in online business you have to be persistent and consistent. That’s the only way you can find success. Running an online business is not easy and you would run into a lot of challenges but those that are able to pull through such difficult times is what would separate the winners from the losers.

Totally agree Jay, consistency and being persistent (never give up) are the keys to success.

If you’re not prepared to put in the work and are looking for a “get rich quick” button, you WILL fail…

I agree with you; persistence is the main factor of success. Generally one assumes that learning as much as possible will quickly make the difference, however after many failures, if you keep your goal constant, you will achieve what you set out to do. Once I read someone who said that life puts many obstacles, but if you overcome them, she is the one who ends up surrendering, leaving you free.

Sounds like you want to beat life into submission Tommy lol

But, you make a good point, you need to take control of your life, have a vision and be persistent.

      Thanks.

Perseverance, persistence, tenacity, determination all great descriptors for the old adage: Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration! We all need encouragement to persevere and I love the way the site provides example after example of that type of encouragement while also offering solution opportunities through the well placed ads sprinkled onto the page.

I like it. The niche market is folks who want to create an ongoing online business solution that will grow and grow. If I were such an online seeker, I would feel like I found a goldmine here…well done!

Hello Les Blythe. This is coming at the right time. This is the time I really needed to be encouraged. I just started my online journey. I swear it has not been easy at all. But if I must make a mark/difference, I must be persistent and determined.  These are key to great success. And of course the though times are making me a better person.

    Thanks for sharing.

Hi there and thanks for jumping in on the conversation.

There’s a saying that “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. There will be tough times for sure, but as determined Entrepreneurs our job is to meet the challenges head on and find solutions.

Best of luck with your efforts and stay focused on your goals!

I love seeing inspirational posts like this it really can give you a boost of motivation. I know me I am 95% of the time positive but even the most positive people need a little inspiration themselves you know?

I don’t feel at a roadblock but not too long ago I had to remind myself to put the pedal to the floor (I love speed so I use this one basically the same as your quote).

I believe we all should see a post like this because sometimes just a little quote can put someone back on track. This one really gets you thinking about how to stay on track and keep positive. I actually wrote in one of my blogs on how Mindset Can make you succeed or be a dream killer.

I hope you keep inspiring others to live their lives to the fullest I hope the best for you thank you for the share.

I totally agree Matt, we all need a motivational kick in the pants from time to time. Something that helps us think clearly, re-assess and move on inspired.

Stay positive and focused – never quit. Good luck with everything you do in your business.
